Last but not least, a discussion about the pertinent accessories with your now fully realized custom look is needed. It is often the small things in life that matter, and this rule cannot be anymore true than it is in the clothing industry and world of style. There are of course several small accessories in addition to suiting, shirting, ties, knits, and shoes that are necessary to fully complete the perfect look. Those include:

Custom Belting

House of Hawkes offers a custom belting program of 20 leather and other more exotic skins for custom belting and strapping. Belts have buckles attached, whereas straps have detached buckles. Our color options ranger from black, brown, light brown, to other exotic skins such as American Alligator and Ostrich. We also occasionally offer O-Ring belting as well of mesh or cotton/silk fabrics. Customization including initialing of the belt is also available for leather and exotic skin belts. House of Hawkes offers imported leathers, skins, and fabrics from Italy and our belts are made in America. Please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery depending on style requested and stock available.

Custom Braces & Suspenders

Braces button into the waistband or waistband extensions on the inside of your dress trousers, whereas suspenders clip onto the waistband of your trouser. Most of our clients opt for proper braces, but we do offer a small number of clip-on suspenders. Our braces and suspenders are made of a variety or materials ranging from elastic, silk (tie cloth), wool, tweed, and linen (suiting cloth), viscose (suit lining), boxcloth, and finally official Scottish Tartans certified by Holyrood. We offer braces and suspenders made in England of the best imported fabrics. Please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery depending on style requested and stock available.

Pocket Squares

Pocket Squares, while small, are an important accessory for every man to have. They are available in varying colors, patterns, and prints. They are made in cotton, silk, satin, linen, and other materials as occasionally requested. House of Hawkes offers pocket squares hand-made in Greece and the United Kingdom. Please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery depending on style requested and stock available.

Scarves

Scarves can be meant for outerwear in winter seasons or also as an accessory year round even in summer and in warm climates. Scarves are made in silk, wool, tartan, flannel or carded flannel, lambswool, merino and saxxon wool, and even linen. They vary in print, per fabric, and can be simply solids to ornate silk-prints with various designs, depending on style desired. House of Hawkes offers scarves hand-made in Greece and the United Kingdom. Please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery depending on style requested and stock available.

Cummerbunds

Cummerbunds, being the waistband accessory worn with formalwear, are most often composed of silk, satin, and polyester, and available most notably in solids. They are also occasionally available in tartan and other prints seasonally. House of Hawkes offers cummerbunds made in Italy of imported fabrics. Please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery depending on style requested and stock available.

Cufflinks

Custom cufflinks are available in several styles. Some are readily available, and others will need to be made or designed, which can take up to 4 weeks to deliver. clients can indicate the style or symbol they would like to order, and House of Hawkes will endeavor to locate the style requested readily or have it made. Please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery depending on style requested and stock available. 

Shirt Stays

Some gentleman continue to utilize garters that connect the bottom of your dress shirt to the top of your dress socks (preferably over the calf dress socks). Most shirt stays are made of nylon and available in solid colors such as black, navy, and occasionally other brighter colors and patterns seasonally.  We offer shirt stays made of imported fabrics online, which are predominantly made in the Asian market. Please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery depending on style requested and stock available.

Sock Garters

Like shirt stays, some gentleman continue to also utilize sock garters that connect from a mid-calf garter to the top of your socks with a small tab placed inside the top of the sock. These garters prevent your socks from falling during the course of the day whilst wearing them. They are predominantly made of nylon available in solid colors as such as black, navy, and occasionally other brighter colors and patterns seasonally. We offer sock garters made of imported fabrics online, which are predominantly made in the Asian market. Please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery depending on style requested and stock available.

Tie Bars

Tie bars (to connect your tie to your shirt) can be obtained in seasonal styles. These styles are usually metallic and either flat or a similar pattern. Some patterns require a small hole to be punctured through the center of the tie to connect via tab or screw to a fastener on the back of the tie. Please indicate what style of tie bar you would like to order and our master clothier will do his best to obtain it for you. Collar Bars/Suspenders

Collar suspenders, which connect the inside corners of a shirt collar to each other, underneath your tie, are available upon request. This look is best with a Prince Albert style tie knot and button-down or Huntington collared dress shirt. Collar bars are proper for the perforated eyelet collar dress shirt and fit through the two small circular holes of the collar, thereby connecting the shirt collar points similarly to the collar suspender, which is the unperforated version of the look. Please ensure you understand the distinction between the collar bar and suspender and have the proper style of shirt collar to allow for the proper style you desire to order.
